Organize and conduct short (2-3 day) workshops in novel methodology in molecular biology, flow cytometry, and bioinformatics
Support local investigators for participation in advanced NCBI courses
Provide individualized training in use of bioinformatics tools for analysis of gene expression data and flow cytometry data
Support travel of external scientists to UMass for biodefense-related research seminars, coordinated with other NIH-funded biodefense centers via internet-based teleconferencing
Coordinate communication regarding Core activities through an interactive Internet interface
